APA and Fargo ratings are used only to estimate your starting Adult placement. APA SL maps directly to FPA level (SL9 → A8). If Fargo projects higher, we use the higher of the two. VECTOR adjusts placement over time based on actual FPA performance.
Admins can adjust placement at any time. Your free FPA Challenger Pass is activated automatically when your account is created — no payment needed to start playing tournaments.
